With a distinguished medical career spanning over 45 years, Dr. Javed Akhtar is one of Azamgarh’s most respected orthopedic surgeons and a passionate advocate for social upliftment through education. A proud alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University, Dr. Akhter has earned numerous academic and clinical credentials, including:

- Fellowships and memberships with the Indian Orthopedic Association, Indian Medical Association, U.P. Ortho Association, and more.

The Visionary Behind HMS
In 2012, driven by a deep sense of community responsibility, Dr. Javed’s founded Huda Milli School (HMS)—an institution built on the belief that quality education is a right, not a privilege. As Chairman of the Trust, he has led HMS from a modest beginning into a thriving school that now serves over 700 students, many of whom come from marginalized or low-income backgrounds.
Dr. Javed’s leadership has guided HMS toward academic excellence, moral development, and inclusive learning. His efforts have laid the foundation for CBSE expansion, land acquisition, and scholarship support, ensuring no child is left behind due to financial hardship.
