Urgent Need for Land Acquisition to Secure HMS’s Future

HMS has been dedicated to providing quality education for 12 years. However, recent policy changes by the Uttar Pradesh government, effective January 11, 2023, mandate that schools in urban areas must have a minimum of 3,000 square meters of land.

Current Land Status & Requirement

  • Existing Land: 1,246.75 sq. meters (below the new standard)

  • Required Additional Land: 3,400.25 sq. meters (30 Biswa)

  • Total After Acquisition: 4,647.00 sq. meters (41 Biswa)

  • Further Requirement for CBSE/UP Board Class 10 & 12 Affiliation: Additional 1,353 sq. meters

Phase I & Phase II Land Acquisition Plan

Phase I – Land Purchase for Grades Up to 8th Class

Requirement Details
Required Land 3,400.25 sq. meters (30 Biswa)
Land Rate ₹10 lakh per Biswa
Total Land Cost ₹3 crore
Additional Costs – Registration Fees: ₹15 lakh
– Boundary & Basic Setup: ₹35 lakh
Total Immediate Need (Phase I) ₹3.50 crore ($412,000)

Phase II – Full CBSE Affiliation (Up to Class 12)

Requirement Details
Extra Land Needed 1,353 sq. meters (12 Biswa)
Land Rate ₹20 lakh per Biswa
Total Cost ₹2.40 crore ($282,000)

Total Fundraising Target: ₹5 Crore ($590,000)

This campaign aims to raise ₹5 crore to fund Phase I land acquisition and initiate expansion for Phase II. Without this, HMS risks losing its registration, affecting 700+ students.

Future Self-Sufficiency: The 50%/25%/25% fee structure ensures sustainability while keeping education affordable.
Regular Reporting: Donors receive annual reports, budget outlines, and progress updates.
80G Tax Exemption: Donors can claim tax benefits by providing their PAN details.

Terms & Conditions:

Before making a donation, please read the following points:

  1. As per Section 80G of the Income Tax Act of 1961, donors who wish to claim a tax exemption must provide their Permanent Account Number (PAN) at the time of donation.
  2. Donations are accepted only from Indian Residents and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs). Donations from foreign nationals or foreign entities are not permitted.
  3. NRIs can contribute only through their Non-Resident Ordinary (NRO) account and not from a Non-Resident External (NRE) or foreign bank account, in compliance with the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), 1999, specifically FEMA (Current Account Transactions) Rules, 2000, and RBI guidelines on NPO transactions.
  4. A donation receipt will be sent to the donor’s registered email ID and WhatsApp number for reference and tax purposes.
